A. Sometimes reshaping has to be done before hand. I am going through invisalign treatment and I have had some enamel stripping in between my teeth to create space to move them. I may have a small amount of reshaping afterwards as well. Every case is different and it depends on what your teeth look like in the first place.
I think your dentist will know best so I would listen to what he /she has to say
