I am interested in veneers, my top set of teeth pertrude

Q. I am interested in veneers, my top set of teeth pertrude out about 6mm from my bottom teeth and are also not as wide as my bottom set making my smile gummy will veneers resole or improve my issues?

A. It is very difficult for me to advise you on this without examining your mouth. If you feel that you  have a gummy smile and that you could benefit from a gum lift, then you be looking towards something called ‘crown lengthening’. This is carried out by a periodontist.

If you have protruding teeth then a brace may be the better option for you as Veneers may be to invasice for your case.

I recommend that you book a consultation with a cosmetic dentist to give you more accurate advise.
