I am interested in MAXI implants is it safe and how long do they last?
Q. I am interested in having a MAXI implant, as according to my dentist it is a non-surgical, minimally invasive technique, avoiding cutting the gum, with far less trauma, and often painless healing. Placement can be carried out in minutes and the implant is immediately usable. The technique does not require a flap of gum tissue to be raised, and the implant is placed by means of a small perforation through the gingival tissue. Are MAXI implants safe and how long do they last?
A. Maxi implants are really just a normal implant with a name to distinquish them from mini implants. You can use them in with flap less surgery if there is sufficient bone to allow placement without visualising the site. They should last as long as a normal implant.
