I am in glasgow and have lost a tooth due to bone loss

Q. I am about to loose my lower left incisor due to gum desease and loss of bone. I have had gum surgery which hasnt worked and the tooth is mobile. I have attended Glasgow Dental Hospital. The consultant has said the tooth cannot be saved due to extensive bone loss and advised extraction asap. What are my options?

A. Your options to replace that tooth are

- denture
- bridge
- implant

Whether these options are viable for you depends upon the health of the surrounding teeth and their supporting structures ( bone, soft tissue)
