I am having my brace removed and my teeth are badly stained, would whitening risk damaging the enamel?

Q.
hello mr.solanki, firstly can i thank you for taking the time to answer my question. i am having a fixed brace removed within the next 2 months howeve my teeth are badly stained and i am considering having them whitened. my question is will there be any damage to my teeth due to bleaching such as damaged enamel and if so is there anything i can do to fix this or protect them by using a certain toothpaste? what is the best whitening treatment? thanks

No tooth whitening will not effect your teeth, it may cause some temporary sensitivity. The systems I recomend are the zoom or enlighten whitening systems.

Hello, my brother just recently got his braces off after a couple years. But, when they took them off it took some of the enamel off with them leaving holes in his top row of teeth. They said it was from sort of a vitamin/mineral deficiency, i cant remember the specifics. I was wondering what could be done to fix the holes on the teeth, from where the braces had been.

I would suggest you have another Orthodontist have a look at it. Braces should not cause any damage to the tooth surface.
