I am getting married next year and want the perfect smile

Q. Hi, I am getting married next year and want to have the perfect smile. I have been told i can’t have veneers because i grind my teeth quite badly. My teeth are also not very straight and seem to be quite small. What would you reccomment to improve my smile ?

A.
The first thing would be to have a full assessment of your bite problem.  Often we can place veneers but only after considering how to improve your bite and more specifically your guidance ( how the teeth slide on each other).  You would also likely have to wear a night time guard to stop you damaging the veneers after they were fitted when you are asleep.

As well as finding a dentist who can place beautiful veneers they also need to have the correct training in the management of bite problems.  You are welcome to come and see me for an initial free consultation to discuss this matter further if you wish.  My contact details are on my web site.  Kindest regards Dr Julian Caplan
