I am getting married and want my teeth whitend
Q. Dear Sir, I am intrested in getting my teeth whitend as i am getting married in october and find it hard to smile as i am embaressed about my teeth. I have a few fillings that need doing but can not get into a dentist to have them done. I would like to know if it is safe to have my teeth whitend beforr haveing these fillings performed. Thank you D
A. Dear D,
It is not a good idea to have your teeth bleached with poorly fitting fillings or decay present in your mouth. The bleach could severely irritate the nerves of your teeth and provide you with serious tooth problems that may require root canal treatment.
If your existing fillings are basically sound but just aesthetically unpleasing then bleaching your teeth first would be the thing to do. You may find that the difference in colour of your old fillings to your newly whitened teeth will look odd. You will then need to have your fillings replaced with fillings that match your new colour- wait for 2 weeks to allow your new colour to stabilise before having the fillings replaced.
Have a great wedding!

My teeth were stained from tetracycline antibiotics when I was about 3 years old. Am I right in assuming the tetracycline effected the colour of my adult teeth? Also, please advise me what, if any, form of teeth whitening would be best effective if indeed the staining of my adult teeth is due to tetracyline when I had my baby teeth. I am so depressed about the colour of my teeth and need to do something about it.

I have seen adverts for the beyond accelerator. Is this a good system and does it clean all natural teeth in the mouth

Hey I’m Megan and I have a few questions regarding my teeth. First off the left side is so prefact I love them. the right side isn’t however. when I was younger I was hit in the face with a golf club while my adult teeth were barely grown in. now one is pushed far back fallowed by a tooth more up right. I was wondering what the best way would be to make my teeth even? I was thinking a white filling over the tooth that is pushed back. they would be perfactly straight if I did that. I was also wondering if white fillings can be bleached or whitened? Thank you so much.

Some of my teeth are yellow and some are white, I just want to know why this is? Because when I was younger all my teeth were completely white.
Please can you give me some advice,
Thank you,
Laura
