I Am Getting An Implant After Removing A Front Tooth. What Are My Options Regarding Straight Teeth?

Q.
Hello Dr Patel, I have a front tooth which I am getting removed and I think I will also be getting an implant. I will also be getting a permanent tooth done, so that I don’t have to walk around with a flipper tooth all my life. I already have quite natural spacing in my front teeth. Which I don’t like and the dentist has now told me that there is nothing I can really do about that. My question is, what can I do to the other tooth to help take up some of that space so that my gap wouldn’t be as big or leave me with no gap at all. (I do not want to remove another tooth). Thanks, I really hope you can help me out.

Hello and thank you for your question. I would really need to see you to best look at the options and know which action to take. Based on what you have told me however I would say that sometimes the teeth can be moved with orthodontic treatments to close the space and make the final smile more even. Kind Regards, Dr Patel.
