A. Ask your current dentist for a referral to a specialist orthodontist with an NHS contract. They will score your bite to a set criteria that will decide if you qualify for NHS. Treatment. Rob

I’m 24 yrs old, I have an overbite which is getting worse i can feel my teeth moving forward fairly rapidly. I’ve never been able to bite food properly because of my gap. It’s constantly on my mind and its getting my down also stopping me for doing my career I want. Does the nhs make exceptions for braces? Regards

Braces, metal or Invisible are not available on the NHS to over 18’s, sorry. You could try an Inman Aligner they cost around £1700 and work quite quickly
