I am 14 years old and and i want to become a dentist

Q. Hi, can i ask a question. I am 14 years old and i want to become a dentist when i grow up can you please tell me what qualifications i need. I need to do well in school get A*, A , or B’s right. i am aiming to get A*’s in my tests. Hope to hear from you soon.

A. I hope you will be aiming for A *’s the better you do the more options you will always have.  You will need to do your A levels after this and study chemistry  + biology, maths or physics.  I wish you all the best and hope you get there.

Hi I am a I.T Lecturer. I have got a M.Sc. in I.T and also I have got a M.A in local Governmnet. I was wondering if there is any chance to change my career from a lecturer to a Dentist. If this is the case how long do I have to spend at college or University?

HI, it would really help if you would answer this question. I am currently studying my GCSE’s and have wanted to persue a career in dentistry for a very long time. I am determined to get there but I am confused about what A levels are needed to do this. I understand that A level chemistry and Biology is a must, but I have recently Chosen my Alevels and i’d Like to know whether a maths a level is really necessary? I have not chosen this as my alevel because I didn’t think I could achieve an a or b in it. At gcse I manage to get a C-B and Will try hard to get a B in my following exams. So I have chosen Chemistry, Biology English(language and litreture) and phycology for my A levels. is this suitable for a cource in dentistry. I am hoping to get 8A*’s a few A’s and one b in maths, so what do you think!
Please get back as soon as possible because I am trying my best to become a sucsesful dentist!

to work out angles the teeth move also also many other pharmaceutical calcs. Maths and science use the same part of the brain so good mathamaticians are good scientist. The cousre is very demanding with science being the major component

hi riten

Please can you advise about how i can become a dentist too, im quite bright doing my triple science and expect to get A stars and go on to do a levels in sciences.
My friends dad is a dentist too and hes really well off and successful, his dad told him that you can make a lot of money as a dentist as you dont have to pay your staff much at all, and that dental mechanics work for virtually nothing —
can you advise on the best univertsities for me ?

thanks daniel
