How will the pain feel when i wake up after the dental treatment

Q. I need a wisdom tooth removed but I Have allergies to the local anesthetic lidocaine or anything in the cain family I will be under general anesthesia but I am not going to have any local. How will the pain feel when I wake up?

A. General anaesthetic also takes away pain however it will feel sore afterwards but this can be controlled with painkillers.  Your dentist may give you stronger pain relief through the iv drip used to administer the general so will give you pain relief while you recover.
