How Should I Rectify My Fluoride Staining?

Q.
When I was young, I had nice white teeth but as I grew older and my adult teeth came through it began to turn brown! I’ve always taken care of my teeth and I don’t know why they turned brown, but I went to the doctor’s so I could find out what was going on and the doctor advised me that my mum had taken antibiotics whilst she was pregnant with me. I currently have 2 veneers and 4 crowns at the top but my bottom teeth still remains brown. I was just wondering if there was anything that I can do to solve my brown teeth problem!!! Please help as it’s getting a little bit too frustrating!! Kind Regards.

Hi there. Thanks for contacting us. In your case I would probably advise that bleaching might help but otherwise veneers will solve the problem, if the problem is fluoride staining. I would say that you should head to your dentist to discuss your options with them as they will have a clearer indication of which treatments can be performed on your teeth.
