How much would it cost for me to have my teeth fixed on the NHS?

Q. hello dr kailesh im 16 years old and had braces when i was around 13 years old i had to have a retainer but forgot to were it now my two front main teeth are sticking out abit and im worried because i dont like my teeth like this and wished i had kept my retainer on any advice would be nice and if treatment is availble how much is it my current dental plan is that im on nhs so if they can do anything or any near private dentist can do something just let me no because im worried thankyou,
A. The first thing I need to stress is the importance of wearing a retainer. Your teeth will always try and move back into their original position. After you have worn your retainer for a few months, your teeth may stabilise and you might not have to wear your retainer as often. If it is just the front 2 teeth that ‘stick out’ then there is a great applinace on the market called the ‘inman aligner’ It concentrates on aligning the front 4 teeth only and works relatively quick. The cost of the applinace is approximately £1500 and is only available privately. As you have already had braces on the NHS, but failed to wear your retainer then I doubt very much that you will qualify for this treatment again. I hope this has helped.
