Hello Dr Moore. How much is a partial denture of 4 teeth and how much would total treatment cost me? I have not seen a dentist for over 10 years and am very nervous. If I had further teeth extracted could I have dentures fitted the same day to avoid embarrassment. My only real problem is my top teeth as they are coming loose and I have a few crowns. I am 56 years old and need assurance that I can afford the treatment before proceeding. I look forward to your advice regarding this situation.

As a guide we charge around £400 for a 4 tooth acrylic partial denture but ask your dentist for a full quote before starting treatment. You could also consider dental implants. I would advise you to look around the various practices in your area and get a quote for each treatment and ask if they offer some kind of payment plan. Find a dentist you feel totally at ease with.
