How much I would be looking at paying for a new bridge?

Q. Hello, can you tell me how much I would be looking at paying for a new bridge. I have one at the moment that has slipped and needs replacing. It is the 4 teeth at the front. My dentist told me about 6 months ago, if I wanted it replaced it would cost £700, but if it moved or started to slip it would cost £300. It has now started to slip and there is a large cap around my gum area. after seeing my dentis saturday, he told me it would now cost £800. I said to him that he said before that if it slipped it would cost £300, and he said the NHS has changed and it is classed as cosmetic unless I am in pain. But he did tell me that if it slipped and needed to be replaced it would only be £300, so I dont know what to believe, is he trying to get more money out of me. Any info would be great. thanks.

A. You need to discuss this with your dentist
