How much do you think i need to pay for my orthodontic treatment
Q. Hi,I’m going to have a private consultaion with an orthodontict.I had treatment when I was 12 years old,but i never managed to retain my teeth after treatment. So now I’m 16 years old and I’m going for a private consultaion which is 70pounds,so how much do you think I’ll have to pay for my treatment even though my teeth have only slightly moved.
A. This depends on the type of treatment you need, it may be just a case of tidying up the teeth with a removable brace or fixed braces again.
the orthodontist should give you an exact quote when they see you

It really depends on what you need to get your teeth straight options range from £1000-7000.
It all depend on which orthodontic appliance you will be having. You ideally need to understand that wearing an orthodontic retainer after the treatment is complete is necessary to prevent the teeth from moving again. This can all be discussed at our visit. expect to pay £2000 +
That is a very difficult question to answer. Only your Orthodontist will be able to tell you the costs of treatment. If you are concerned about cost then you may want to get a few opinions
Hi, I have quite bent teeth mainly in the front, but also my jaw is slightly to the side. I was told by my dentist when I was younger that I will not need braces, however I am quite self conscious about my teeth and now 24 years old I will have to pay. I am looking to get braces preferrably the Invisalign braces. What would the prices be? How would I go about finding out prices or braces, will I need to check with an orthodontist?
You will need to check with your orthodontist as prices do vary. Find someone who you feel comfortable with as your treatment will take several months.
Both of my later incisors stick out about 5 mm each and I have a gap but I also have one tooth in the back that is kind of out of place. Would invisalign work for me and how much would ot cost ?
It would be best to have a consultation with an Invisalign providing dentist in order to determine if you would be a good candidate for Invisalign first.
Hello,Im ineed of having one of my tooths straightened Iv always had 1 twisted tooth, Its the upper right lateral. Its not straight as it should be, Perfect condition though, I had a brace when i was younger but i felt ashamed so i didnt wear it and now im suffering from it. Id like to have a Even and great smile from it. How would you be able to do it? How long would it take? And what price would it be? Thankyou very much.
Hello, I have accidentally cracked my aligner, on the left corner and i still have a week left to wear it. Should I continue with it? It doesn’t feel weak or that its going to break or anything, but i would just like to be sure thank you
Hi there! It is best to check it with your dentist, but it sounds like you should be able to just carry on wearing it. Best of luck with your treatment.
i have stupidly lost my next aligner and i was just wondering what is the cost of getting one aligner back and what should i do in the meantime while i wait? Should I continue wearing my current aligner? thanks
YOu may go onto the next aligner and wear it for double the time
how much would it cost for invisalign as im only 17? i work within the dental enviroment and feel its the best option for me
Hi, The cost of your Invisalign treatment is dependant upon the type of invisalign treatment you require. Invisalign Teen, Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Full are the current options available to you. Our prices range from £1995- £3750. A full clinical and radiographical examination would be required to assess which is the best option for you. I hope this helps. Best wishes
I am just over half-way through my invisalign treatment, waiting for my dentist to come back from holiday so my teeth can be filed ready for the next stage. However, this morning my braces snapped – they’ve been slowly cracking for a while. I can’t find my last stage, but two stages before. Is it better to go without the braces for two weeks (my appointment is the 21st April) or go back to the previous stage? The receptionist said that only my current dentist will treat me. Thankyou
Hello
I recommend that you please go back to wearing that aligner from 2 stages before, it is better that than being without one.
hope that helps
Hi, I would really like a set of invisalign braces as they are a lot more attractive and so I’ve been told easier to wear than metal braces but I just wondered about the cost. I know that it cost about 3500 which i would be willing to pay but cannot afford all at once, are there payment plans offered and if so how are they broken down? Do you have the option of choosing how much a month that you pay? Any information on the topic would be greatly welcomed, thank you for your time
Hello
Yes you can pay monthly instalments; it depends where you go but roughly a depoist of 1000 and then about 150 per month interest free
Is there any way I can get these braces free on the nhs? Or is there a way to get a good reduction in price, i am only 15 dr?
I am afraid that the \NHS does not subsidise private treatment. You rparents if working may take out an interest free loan
What is the the difference between Invisalign and Invisalign Lite? What is the typical cost range for Invisalign vs. typical cost range for Invisalign Lite? What is the difference in the duration of the treatment? Thanks Best Wishes
Invisalign lite is only 14 aligners without any refinements. IL is less cost, but you will get less orthodontic treatment/movement. Most cases cannot be treated with IL, unless your dentist wants to strip the enamel between the front teeth. Invisalogn typically costs 3-4000 GBP.
is the invisalign treatment good at treating front teeth that are crossed over? I have had this problem for years and now think i have saved up enough to get the treatment I need. I hear that invisalign is about £3000 is this an accurate price? thanks very much
Hi Invisalign can treat front teeth that are crossed over so long as there is enough space for them. I would say that Invisalign probably starts from about £3500 depending on complexity, however this may be payable in instalments allowing you to get started straight away! Good luck
