Q. Hello Please could you tell me how much it could cost me to have a full mouth makeover as I have some chops in my teeth on the bottom row. The other thing that worries me id that I broke my tooth this am and only have a little part of it left in my gum that I am worried about having extracted – will this hurt as I am a nervous patient at the best of times? Also can you explain how many veneers/crowns you can have in any one go with an NHS dentist or would I need to pay per tooth each time? many thanks
A. It is some years since I have worked in the NHS so I am afraid you would need to book a check up with your NHS dentist to get the answer to this.
It would be unwise to go straight for a makeover – you need to treat the decay, stabilise it then decide whether you want cosmetic treatment once your mouth is in a sustainable healthy state
hi i am a 41 year old male in desperate need to have my teeeth sorted out . i have suffred from diabetes type 2 for about nine years since been diagnosed i have noticed my teeth have been falling out or breaking apart ! and leaving sharp ends and stumps i have about 4 teeth missing and a further three broken . my only saving grace is my front 4 teeth are still there so i can at least smile ok ! but i have noticed these are now on there way out . i suffer from tooth ache on a regular bassis please can you help
