Q. My dentist just applied bonding to the back of my front teeth. They feel thinner and now I am worried they will break easily. Also, I worry as to how long the bonding will last. If the bonding wears off, what do you do then. I dont want caps. I dont know why he chose to do this procedure. My teeth are pretty and white. Maybe because I am 59 yrs old and perhaps he thought this would help preserve them. Is this a mistake of my life? Am I headed toward more espensive procedures?
A. This is difficult to answer as there can be many reasons for bonding teeth. If you are concerned please contact your dentist to voice your concerns
