how long should i leave a missing tooth gap before a dental implant
Q. after a tooth extraction, what is the longest amount of time you can wait before having an implant?
A. hi many thanks for your enquiry. the best time after an extraction to place a dental implant is 6-8 weeks after. you can leave it as long as you want but you may risk a loss of bone to the extent that then the implant may not be able to be placed until a bone graft is done. hope this information is helpful.
