Hello Dr Patel, I have a question for you. How long do dental veneers last? And do you think it is worth having them? My teeth are quite discoloured and not very straight. Would this be a good method compared to let’s say braces. I was considering getting braces but then I was told about this option. Are the veneers permanent, or do they not last very long? How long will the procedure normally take and is it painful in any way? If you could give me a quote that would be great.

Thank you for your enquiry. Veneers can last very well I have many cases over 14 years old and they are still fine. The secret is to preserve as much of your natural teeth as possible so if they were crooked I would always recommend orthodontic alignment first then veneers.
