How long does it take for adult teeth to come through?

Q. my daughter will be 6y old in this December she caries tooth and lost all most her all upper teeth. still what time should her new teeth will erupt.,
A. Dear Enquirer, Permanent teeth normally come through at the ages of 5-7. so it only a matter of time until her teeth come through. You mention that your daughter lost most of her milk teeth as a result of caries. I would therefore advise that when your daughter’s permanent teeth come through, she see’s a dentist regularly. Try to get her into a good oral hygiene routine of brushing twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and take a look at her diet, ie sweets and fizzy drinks that she consumes. I hope that this helps. Kind regards, Sunita
