How long do I have to wait for a flexible partial denture?

Q. Just had five teeth out still have some teeth left. The dentist has put in a immediate acrylic partial denture which does not appear to fit my mouth, My tongue is sitting on top of the denture tooth on the left hand side and I cannot eat without it cutting my tounge. How long do I have to wait for a flexible partial denture and where in Cardiff or near by can I get a Valplast partial denture and how much is it likely to cost,
A. Go to your dentist to get the new plate adjusted so that it is comfortable, then wait for 6 weeks or so before finding a dentist who can offer Valplast dentures
