I am sure if the teeth supporting the bridge are healthy you should be able to have a new bridge.

What is the price of one tooth bridge at the front

May 3rd, 2011 at 08:47 PM

This depends on the number of missing teeth and number anchor teeth. You should start from around £500 per tooth.

You need to visit a dentist, as long as there is no damage to the teeth you should be able to have the bridge re-cemented. The pain may just be sensitivity.

I am looking for some advice and information. I have three implants supporting a bridge with 8 teeth. I am not very happy with the look – I think theteeth are too thin and short. Realistically I think 7 teeth would fit better but… I am not convinced the crowns/teeth used are of high quality – I had this done abroad. Are you able to give me an estimate of how much it would cost to replace the teeth with GOOD quality teeth / crowns?

May 24th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Amani Says :

I require to have 4 crowns replaced to the top teeth at the front. I wouldlike to enquire about general cost. I have been advised that I also need some further non urgent crowns and bridges to my back teeth.

i ve been having problem with my bridge it keeps falling down is it the cement , could it be old .what could be the reason? i have to keep visiting the dentist about every 2 wks.

September 7th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Frances Says :

There could be any number of reasons. It is probably not the cement. It could be the age of the bridge or the health of the teeth holding it. You will have to discuss this with the dentist to find a solution.

I have just had anew porcelain bridge Put into my upper back mouth to replace my older bridge. The new bridge is catching my inner cheek When eating. I feel it is the last molar Crown doing this. My dentist informs Me this is normal. Will this go away. Ihave not experienced this with my previous bridge. Also this is a porcelain crown bridge. It is replacing 3 teeth so it is 5 units. My concern is the cheek catching. Thank you.

hi, I have had a dental bridge for the past 12 years, one of my front teeth never came through so I had a maryland bridge attached. Last week it was knocked out by my nephew by accident so i went to have it put back in again by the emergency dentist. The tooth naw sticks out more than my own tooth and looks more false. I was wondering would i be able to go to a regular dentist and get the bridge taken out again a re attached till it looks ok? and if so how do they remove a maryland bridge that hasnt long been put in? as im scared it may damage my own teeth. thanks

October 28th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Judah Says :

Its difficult to remove and replace in the correct position although you may be lucky. Ask your dentist to see what they can do or maybe make a new bridge?

I have a missing tooth, with existing crowns fitted on either side of the hole, is it possible to have a bridge tooth fitted. I am not happy with the NHS dentist telling me it would be better to have a denture with one tooth on it, or to go to the expence of having an implant fitted. Two years ago I had a bridge fitted on the opposite side of my my mouth. The missing tooth is canine. Thank you.

Yes a bridge would a be a good solution, I would avoid dentures if the rest of the mouth/teeth are healthy.

I recently tried a maryland bridge on a front tooth and it repeatedly came unglued. The original plan was to do an implant but I was told that I needed a bone graf which I declined in favor of of the maryland bridge.I am now looking at doing a standard bridge. I am wonderig why the bridge failed to take hold. Was it the choice of adhesive . I ws told that the marylad bridge does not work in any case. Is that true?Thank You

Hi It is really difficult to answer this question as the longevity depends on design, material choice and the forces which are being generated on the bridge.

I`ve just had a big bridge fall out on my left side of my mouth, now there are only 2 fixing points left (front and back) what is the best course of action to take now ? I`m a pensioner so i have no money. I had all new crowns done abroad four years ago so i can`t really go back to this country to get them fixed. Please could advise me on what course of action to take as i can`t eat anything hard because i have no teeth on the bottom left or right.

Geoffrey Says :

I’m not sure what would be best without seeing you. It sounds like you’ll need implants or a denture so try to get to a dentist in the Uk as soon as possible.

November 14th, 2011 at 08:47 PM

I have a 5 tooth upper bridge that the porcelain on the outside of the second tooth has cracked off leaving silver and black showing how can this be fixed? should I get the whole thing out an implant and veneers over ground teeth. The bridge is 15 years old.How much would fixing this cost.

November 16th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Aiyana Says :

It probably can be repaired with new porcelain but it is in your best interest to replace it rather than try to patch or repair it. You can consider crowns and implants rather than a new bridge. It is impossible to estimate the cost for your situation. I suggest you consult with a dentist to discuss the best option for your situation.

I need to replace a bottom right 3 unit bridge that is made of sculpture fibrekor i have only had it 4 years andits failed as the material is a composite i believe. I didn’t want a metal bonded bridge so do you think a zirconium one with porcelain crowns would be ok? if not what would be the best quality / make of Gold alloy. Although i would rather have non metal. Hope you can help Rgds

I have a slightly loose front tooth which my dentist said I have lost some bone therefore it must be extracted and best option a bridge, I also have an abcess on the gum above the tooth, my dentist said a butterfly bridge is an option but not always secure and does always have good results I am extremely concerned in having an extraction and traumatic as it is my front tooth, is there any option other than extraction?

May 22nd, 2012 at 08:47 PM
Kaylie Says :

If the bone loss is very severe then extraction is the best option. If less severe then treatment with a gum specialist might be worth considering although extraction of a loose front tooth should be very straight forward with minimal trauma.
