How do I go about getting my chipped tooth fixed?

Q.
Hi there

i have nice teeth all round but i have a problem with my two front teeth, as i teen i may have chipped them and i have noticed that the “chip” is getting bigger. The chip is in the middle of my two front teeth.
i was wondering if it is possible to file them to make them appear rounded? My two front teeth are large anyway so i do feel that this is possible? Would they both have to be altered? I don’t know how to go about getting this done. please get back to me asap….
Thanks

A.
Hello, thank you for your question.

It is very difficult for me to assess your case without seeing you for a consultation. However, it sounds like you may be able to have composite fillings to reshape the tooth and make them look complete again.

With regards to filing down teeth, it is sometimes possible to file them slightly. However, it can make them sensitive. I hope this helps!
