how do I get rid of green stains around my bottom gum?

Q.
I have green forming around my gum bottom of bottom teeth!! How can i got rid of it?
A.
Best thing to do is visit a dentist and get a referral to the hygienist. This way if it is staining the hygienist can remove the staining and give your teeth and gums and good clean.

I am dealing with the same thing. I have visited the dentist and hygenist. They said not to worry. But really gave no answer for this problem. It is on my enamel only on the lower front teeth near the gumline. It looks like mold and is aweful. I am a very clean person. I take care of myself. I eat healthy and really just want some sort of answer to why this is happening. Please.

I have the same thing – its only shown up over the past couple of years near cleaning time. One Dentist was very curious and a little rude towards me. I admitted I was overdue by a few months and had gray plaque on my bottom teeth near the gums on the inside of my mouth. He reassured me twice, that it was green – said he’d never seen anything like it. He thought it might be the NyQuil medicine I was taking or the mouthwash I was using that was green. He recommended a non-green mouthwash and it still showed up again 6 months later, but only towards the end of the 6 months. My new dentist mentioned it, said it could be something Im eating, reacting with my saliva or my body chemistry may be changing as I grow older, as I assured her this has never happened before. I liked her bedside manner much better and accept this answer. Its embarrassing enough to have ‘dirty’ teeth, but to have the color be GREEN? Awful.. good luck.
