How can I replace my missing gums?

Q.
I’m a smoker and have very bad gum disease, I’ve had it for 7 years or more and no amount of brushing or rinsing with mouthwash has got rid of it, it has taken away the whole of my gum between my right front tooth and my tooth beside it on both sides. Would there ever be a way to fix this? I can send you a picture please get in touch its really getting me down as I have no smile left and embarrassed to talk in public. Any help would be really appreciated as this is really getting me down. Many thanks.

You could possibly be a candidate for a gum grafting procedure, maybe also in conjunction with some cosmetic dentistry procedures to the teeth as well, such as bonding or veneers, to hide the defects you describe. I would advise you seek advice from either a cosmetic dentist experienced in these procedured or a specialist periodontist (gum specialist) who is experienced in grafting techniques.

Kind regards
