How Can I Reduce The Gap Between My Front Teeth Without The Use Of Braces?

Q.
Dear Dr Gambroudes. How do I reduce the gap between my front teeth. I have actually had my braces put back 1 year, but this gap has re-occurred. Can you suggest to me any ideas to get rid of this gap? I had this gap before and I had braces put in to close it. I don’t want to have braces any more because I had them for almost 2 years and I had a retainer but it still came back again. Is there anything that can be done without putting braces on? The gap is not that much but it is uncomfortable for me. Thank you for your time.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. Most commonly, orthodontic treatment is used to align the teeth, but perhaps veneers or cosmetic bonding could be considered. It’s difficult to say without seeing you in person and determining the extent of your dental condition. If you would like more information on these treatments you can find this through this handy website. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Gambroudes.
