How Can I Properly Whiten My Stained Composite Veneers?
Q.
I have composite veneers over my front four teeth and I am looking to have them whitened (they have stained a little over the time I have had them on)
Are there any forms of whitening/ ingredients I should be staying clear of?
I wanted to complete a course of in-surgery lazer whitening but since having it done before I had my veneers put on, it has been made illegal.
Any advice on what would be the best way to bring my veneers/ teeth to their original colour?

hi
hi
the veneers will not respond very well to any whitening procedure . their surface can be polished to restore some colour but this depends on how thick they are .
if you want to restore some colour to your natural teeth by whitening – power whitening on its own is never the answer as it gives a change in colour mainly by dehydration and thus the result fades quickly .
home whitening over a period of 2 weeks with most systems gives a better and longer lasting result
in conclusion whiten your natural teeth first then have the veneers replaced with new composite or porcelain veneers
