How Can I Get My Periodontal Disease Under Control?
Q.
Please, I need help. I was diagnosed with having advanced periodontal disease when I was in my late 20s and now the bone that supports my teeth is almost nothing. I have already lost a few teeth and all my teeth are loose. I’m 52 years old but feel my life is over. My confidence has diminished, I’m depressed, I’m desperate for help or any advice you could give. I would be most grateful for help.

Hi, thank you for your question. If there is bone available for implants you could consider fixed teeth held with dental implants as this is the most lifelike alternative to natural teeth. The first step is to find a local implant clinic to get a CT scan and see if there is enough bone available. If you’re in the Essex area I would be happy to see you, my details are on my profile. Regards, Andrew.
