How can I find out which Astra kit was used when I had a dental implant fitted?

dear Dr. Hughes, I had an implant put in about 8 years ago in york england. i did not have the ubutment or crown put in at the time. I have tried for many months now to contact that dentist to find out which Astra kit was used so that my dentist in the US can finish the work. I was wondering if you could suggest anything I may to find out the details of the product that was used. I now have a fistula at the implant site and need the issue delt with ASAP. thank you for you time.

Your dentist has an obligation to provide you with all the details on your dental records. I would suggest writing an official letter requesting the information. If they have lost the information there is not much you can do. With a fistula present, you may have to have the original implant replaced but your dentist in the US will advise you about that.
