How Can I Even Out the Length of my Front Teeth?

Q.
One of my front teeth is shorter than the other. I was told they couldn’t file down the longer one any more. What can I do to make the short tooth longer? I had braces twice, spending a lot of money without results. I don’t want to get braces again and my dentist doesn’t know what to tell me. He referred me back to an orthodontist. He says that one tooth outgrew the other, and I’ve never broken my tooth. The last orthodontist had them the same length, but the retainer didn’t keep the one tooth from growing longer than the other. Thank you.

Hi, thank you for getting in touch. I’m not sure why this has happened, but you could consider some simple bonding of white resin on the shorter tooth to make it look longer? Kind regards, Andrew.
