Hello, i have one front tooth longer than the other
Q. Hello, i have one front tooth longer than the other and was advised if got a brace it would drop back down again in time, i was advised that i could get a slice of the longer tooth so my two front teeth would be level and my dentist would build it up with veneer, do you think would this cause sensitivity or discolouring in time? Any advice greatfully received Thank you.
A. I would have the brace option. The tooth will not move down again if you have permanent retention on the back of the tooth to hold it in place. If you are not keen on having braces then a veneer is definately an option. You will have to have some tooth shaved down and the preparation should be kept within enamel. There shouldn’t be sensitivity if this is the case and you normally wouldn’t get any staining

Hi
My front two upper incisors and canines are large so the second incisors appear smaller.
I dont mind that the canines are large though i would like the front two incisors reduced in size, i dont want vaneers so is there a way they could be ‘shaven’. Though people have warned me of sensitivity after such a procedure, what can i do?
thanks
Hello Suri,
One of my other front teeth is also abit longer than the other. I am going to get braces soon but do i have to ask the braces people i want permantent retention when i get my braces in afew months and will it cost more? If so how much? Also, one of my teeth is aching due to a yellow orange stain near the gum tissue. Since its aching is it damaging anything like my teeth or gum? I would also like to know if it is normal that my teeth move abit when i wiggle it? (i only wiggled it once). How can i make my teeth secure and stable? Is brushing 3 times a day better than one? Im 12. If u can help answer these questions i would really apreciate it!! Thanks
dentists are shit and expensive. pull the longer 1 out and get 1 on a retainer
I have a straight set of teeth and do not require braces, however, one of my front teeth is slightly longer than the other. Can I get this problem fixed, I would also like to hear the pro’s and con’s of whitening teeth.
