Front teeth is very discoloured after root canal can I fix this for my wedding

Q. One of my front teeth is very discoloured due to root canal treatment ten years ago. I am due to marry soon and would like to have this rectified so that I can smile on my big day! My dentist has told me a veneer would not cover the darkness and nothing can be done. Is this true, am I stuck with a black front tooth?

A. Sometimes a dark tooth can be covered by a veneer to mask the colour. this is all dependent on the darkness of the tooth and the expertise of the technician. in any case the tooth can be crowned using a lava material which would completely mask the tooth colour and produce a beautiful result. hope this is helpful.
