Dr. I have a large gap in between my front two teeth

Q. Dr. I have a large gap in between my front two teeth in upper side & front two teeth in lower side. I had consulted a detist & she advised me to solve this problem she will put two artificial teeth i.e.one in upper side & second in lower side & also put the caps in teeth which are in both side of this artificial teeth. So Dr. I want to ask you that is this procedure is right or wrong? This is very urgent because I have to go to the Dr. on comming Monday for this treatment.

A. I would definately investigate the options of implants before you go ahead and have bridge work done. I would always have implants in my mouth because it means that my other teeth would not be shaved down.
Speak to your dentist about this and if she doesn’t carry implant treatment out herself ask her to refer to one that does.
Implants are not available on the NHS and are more expensive than bridges but they have a much better prognosis and are a better restoration for your mouth
Kind regards
