does teeth whitening hurt can i have aneasthetic

Q. Hello Dr Bohara, I am really nervous about having my teeth fixed but they also cause me a lot of embarrassment, my front 2 teeth stick out and they are yellow will the inman aligner help me and does the inman aligner hurt also does teeth whitening hurt, is it possible to have anaesthic for teeth whitening or sedation so i can be alsleep during the teeth whitening I have read that some people get sharp pains during teeth whitening. thanks

A. it is very difficult to say whether you would be an ideal candidate for the Inman Aligner. Only after a consultation, can the dentist say what is the best treatment option for you.

Treatment with braces is usually pain free, but some people can initially experience some discomfort until they get used to wearing braces.

Teeth whitening is also usually a pain free procedure if carried out safely by a professional. In some cases patients can complain of sensitivity, but this usually resolves within a few days.

I hope this helps

Kind Regards
