Do your teeth have to be strong with old fillings replaced in order to receive Invisalign braces?

Q.
Do your teeth need to be strong and old fillings replaced in order to have invisalign braces? I had a consultaion recently and was told that I would have to pay around £500 to sort out my teeth before being able to have the invisalign brace. I can’t help but wonder whether I’l be taken advantage of. I have heard some bad feedback about this dentist but I am unsure of anywhere else that offers invisalign in Stoke on Trent. Do you know anywhere local to here that offers this service?
A.
If you contact invisalign they can they tell you all the dentist registered to do invisalign it that area. You do need to be dentally fit before starting treatment.
