Do you think I need surgery?

Q. i was told i have gum disease and have a periodontal pocket 4mm deep and have had the scaling and root planning but they said that might not be enogh i may need surgery, do you think i need surgery?,
A. I can’t tell without seeing you and an x-ray of the tooth i’m afraid but it does sound like surgery might be the answer
