Do I need to scale and polish before teeth whitening?
Q. Hi, Assuming that I have very good oral hygiene would it be necessary for me to have a scale and polish just before having my teeth whitened at a dentist (using Zoom) if I had a scale and polish 10 days prior?
A. Probably not unless you smoke or drink a lot of coffee/tea

I have not been to the dentist for 12 years due to a very bad experience. Ihave receding gums and a scale and polish causes me so much pain that I have been too scared to have one again the pain was hoorendous and I have developed a phobia about this over the years. Is there any suggestion as to what I could do to make it less painful whether it be sedation or another way. I do really want to get my teeth scaled and polished and have a check up.I would be grateful if you could advise

hi i would like to ask if you do normal scale and polish as i would like tostart cosmetic treatment but feel i need this first. also could you give me a rough cost ie: starting from prices for inman aligners and 6 month braces and tell me the average time of treatment for each.
