Dental veneers for straight teeth ?

Q. Dear Dr Riten Patel,
Hello, I am just planning on getting Veneers. I am 18 years of age, and my teeth are really getting to me. There in no disgusting state, well actually far from it. But the idea of having straight teeth is just amazing. Especially being in the performing industry. I have been knocked back for a few jobs because of my teeth. And sometimes not gone to auditions because of them. If you could help. Would be amazing.

A. There are number options available to you. If you think your teeth are generally nice but just crooked and yellow/dark orthodontics is a great option. We use invisible orthodontics to straighten your teeth and then we can use laser whiteing to brighten them up. The process preserves your natural teeth but treatment can take anywhere from 6 -24 months depending on the condition of your teeth. Porcelain Veneers are a great way to create a beautiful smile we can change the shapes and colour of them. The process is much faster than orthodontics and can take as little as 3 visits over about 4 weeks. The downside of veneers is that your own teeth have to be prepared this means that they will need maintainance in the future. I hope this helps please feel free to contact me at anytime.
