Could You Give Me A Rough Estimate Off How Much It Would Cost To Get My Jaw Aligned?

Q.
Hello Dr Moore. My top jaw comes out more forward than my bottom one, I think this is called an overbite. This means my bite basically covers my bottom teeth. Also when I bring my bottom jaw forward to meet my top teeth one of jaws are not straight resulting in a big space either side of my front teeth. Apart from this my teeth are all straight. I would like to have my jaw realigned. Do you think that this is the best option? Also, could you give me rough estimate of how much this sort of treatment would cost? I hope to hear from you. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch with me. Based on what you’ve told me I would suggest that braces would be best treatment to correct your jaw alignment – the approximate cost of which is usually around £3000. If I was you I would ask an experienced orthodontist to discuss all your options regarding this. I hope this information helps you. Kind regards, Dr Andrew Moore.
