Could there be more of a cavity underneath the filling? And how can it be fixed?
Q. I had a white filling done about a year ago, and it was sensitive for a while, but eventually it was fine. A couple days ago, the tooth starting to hurt. It was mild at first, but now its excrutiating. The whole tooth is throbbing. Could there be more of a cavity underneath the filling? And how can it be fixed?
A. The chances are the nerve is inflammed or dying, this can happen in a deep filling. You should see your dentist as you might need a root canal treatment
