Could I have Lumineers bonded over the top of my existing veneers?
Q.
hi
Please can you tell me if lumineers would bond onto existing 21 year old porcelain venners,as my dental hospital are reluctant to take my old venners off as my teeth behind them have severe bruxism damage and would probably snap if attempted. The problem seems to do with the bonding side of things. Or is there any other type that would bond. The original veneers were to close gaps in my upper front four teeth and now because of the age of them the gaps have slowly reappeared.
Thanks

Yes they could possibly be suitable for bonding existing veneers. It would be important to have an assessment with a cosmetic dentist really experienced in Lumineers or other types of ultra-thin veneer options, as there are more options than just Lumineers

Hope that answers your questions?
Best wishes and good luck with whatever treatment you choose Mark
