Hi, I have really a large gap between my front tooth and the one right of it, also a gap on the left hand side as well as the middle and I really hate it. I am coming up to 53 years young, and need to find out if it’s too late to do anything about, as I have lost a lot of confidence recently, since hitting my fifties and now I hate having my photo taken when I have to smile. It’s really embarrassing for me. Also, if there is something that can be done, would it cost a lot of money or would it be something I could get through the national health? I look forward to your reply. Kind regards and Thank you for your time.

My Confidence Is Affected Since Turning Fifty. Can I Fix The Gap In My Teeth Through The NHS?
Tuesday, August 27th, 2013Where Can I Get Free Treatment So I Can Get My Life Back On Track?
Friday, June 21st, 2013I am a 46 y/o woman whose dental issues have left me feeling completely hopeless. I am unemployed and see no hope of ever becoming employed again because as soon as I open my mouth during the interview I see that look that says I won’t be getting a call back and who can blame them. I can’t smile or laugh, or even attempt to interact with people, I even avoid family functions. The worst part though is the constant pain and inability to really eat. My diet consists of soft foods and even with those I basically have to swallow it nearly whole and have choked a few times and hate the stomach pains that accompany swallowing such large pieces of food. I am extremely desperate, I want to be able to live again and enjoy life. Is there a place that you can recommend that might be willing to give me back my life at no cost since unemployment doesn’t even cover the cost of my rent?
Can You Improve On The Work Done By My NHS Dentist?
Wednesday, May 1st, 2013I had composite veneers fitted over the front of my 2 front teeth by an NHS dentist. I’m not happy with the work done. One is bulky and cracked due to the fact that i have already had it repaired the other has a dent in where the glue is and you can see on both where they end and my old tooth is under. I’m so disappointed, i feel I have lost confidence when i smile. I had composite bonding over both teeth years ago and this was great you could not even tell. they looked so natural. I went to get them redone as it has been 8 years and this dentist said this was the only way they could now be done. I feel my front teeth are a mess with the composite veneers. Could your firm do anything? Maybe composite bond over them? Thank you.
I Am On Benefits, Can I Receive Free Treatment?
Thursday, April 18th, 2013Hi. I’m 45 years and haven’t seen a dentist since I was 15 years. I know I need loads of work done and I also wear a top plate but I’m claiming benefit of £71 a week and every penny is accounted for can I still receive treatment? I’m also very scared of needled and have a very low pain threshold. I know I have to see a dentist but I’m petrified. I have a tooth missing on the top, front, left hand side and broken teeth at the back, top, right. Can a dentist do anything about all those? I can’t eat anything hard because my teeth just break.
As A Student I Have Limited Funds But My Teeth Are Causing Confidence Issues, Am I Entitled To Cheap Treatment?
Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 Hi
I was wondering whether or not there are any discounted prices available for students/young adults that are not earning a great amount? I have been needing to fix my teeth for years now, however I haven’t been able to afford it. I have extremely low self esteem due to my teeth, it greatly affects my social life as I have no confidence to talk in front of new people, due to my crooked teeth. Fixing my teeth is a necessity, though I have no way to pay such a great amount of money. Would you kindly suggest any routes I can possibly take, without needing to pay such huge sums of money? Thank you.
My Crowned Tooth Has A Broken Post And Infection, Are The Costs I Have Been Quoted Accurate?
Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 I have a crown with a broken post and possible infection (seen on xray). The tooth is the front left one.
The crown is also loose and has to come out.
My dentist gave me two option: To remove the tooth or two keep it (not reccomended by him, couse of the infection and possibility he may not be able to drill the remaining post out and Infection may not be treated succsesfully.
If I remove my tooth, I have option of 1.-implant (only done privately and too expensive (£2000)
2.dentures for tooth-i dont like it because I can take them in and out
3.bridge-done on nhs with one wing and possibility it may coume out, or done privetly with two wings, over my other front tooth, but it may couse pain, and again it cost more (£1000).
What would you reccomend?
I have to mention that I was planing to do veneer on my other right front tooth -its crooked-anyway so these two look the same, and veneer on NHS cost me £300.
Many thanks
Pain whilst wearing dentures due to removal of two front teeth taken out
Thursday, February 14th, 2013Dr Moore please can you help me? I’ve had my two top teeth taken out and have had dentures put in. on my dentures i have seven teeth and when i wear my dentures and am unable to swallow and its making me feel sick because i have bells palsy when it makes me feel sick i do get pain in my face because of the bells palsy. Please can you inform me what’s the best option available to me and should do because when i get pain in my face its unbearable. Could you inform me of how much would it be to have tooth implants for the teeth I currently have missing. I’m only 23 years of age and my job will be finishing in 26 days of the current 6 months scheme I am involved in. Do you believe the NHS would be able to help me pay for the implants or reduce the cost for me ?

Monday, January 7th, 2013Hello, just a quick question i live in leicester in the united kingdom and i would like to have twelve teeth done with vaneers, i’m on benefits and I was just wondering how much it would be on the nhs for this? Or how much it would be per a tooth on the NHS? I’m very embarrased by how my teeth look as they grown through discoloured and I have tried loads of tooth paste, the teeth whitening kit and also went to have them whiten professionally but they said there is nothing more they can do only thing that will improve my teeth is vaneers or crowns.
