Do you think it is plausible to wear Invisalign for three weeks?

Friday, November 9th, 2012
Q.

Dear Dr Safeer Butt,
I had Inman Aligner treatment immediately followed by a bonded retainer fixed behind my upper front teeth.

14 months later, my two front teeth have moved slightly back towards their old position.

I visited my Cosmetic Dentist who assured me the bonding has not deteroriated or come loose, suggesting that the wire has not been sufficiently strong.

His proposed solution is for me to wear an Invisalign brace full time for three weeks, and then at night for double protection this is while I keep my fixed retainer in place.

Does this sound plasuible to you? I would have thought that the Invisalign brace would be pointless while the wire is in place, but at the same time I didn’t think I’d see any tooth movement either.

I’d appreciate your opinion.

Kind Regards,
Robert

Would an Inman Aligner help re-align my teeth after my wisdom teeth have caused damage to them?

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012
Q.

Hi Andrew, so here’s my problem: I used to have perfect teeth until about a year ago when all my 4 wisdom teeth came out. When they came our, they pushed one of my front teeth out(next to the canine tooth) and the other one is my front teeth. Now I am left with 2 front teeth sticking out and I fear that the wisdom teeth have not fully erupted and so more damage will be done. The protruding teeth are really getting me down as I used to have nice teeth! Please advise me as to what I should do. I was thinking about getting an Inman Aligner, but I am not sure and it might just be too costly only for two teeth. Can you help at all? What would be the best option for me? Regards,

I just need one tooth straightened, what is my best option?

Thursday, August 18th, 2011
Q.

Hi Dr Moore, I was hoping you could give me some advice. I am a 20 year old female, and when i was 16 i had metal braces to straighten my teeth through the nhs. My orthodontist made a great job and i was very pleased with the results. However, i stupidly kept forgetting to wear my retainers and one of my lateral incisors has pushed back between my front incisor and canine. (apologies for my wording here i dont know the correct names for the teeth!) The rest of my teeth are fine but as you can imagine that one tooth is making my smile crooked! Can you help me and tell me the best way to resolve this, preferably without going through 2 years of braces again! I just want to push that tooth back out! I am willing to pay whatever it costs! Can you give me any help? Thanks.

I have a slight gap between my front teeth, would inman aligners or the 6 month smile be good at treating this?

Monday, April 18th, 2011
Q.

I have a slight gap in my top front teeth, a couple of millimeters or so. Do you think that the use of inman aligners or the 6 month smile would benefit me and close the gap as it is something I have been sensitive about for many years?

My teeth have relapsed after past orthodontic work, would the Inman Aligner be a good solution?

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011
Q.

Hello Dr. Verma,
I used to wear metal permanent braces about 13 years ago. My bottom teeth are fine but my front right tooth has moved forward over the years and the tooth next to it moving behind it. i read about the inman aligner and thought this could perhaps be a solution. In the last couple of years i have had a wisdom tooth come through on that side and wondered whether you think this would stop me being able to have that type of treatment (the wisdom tooth doesn’t cause any problems).
i appreciate your help and time.
kind regards,

Will the Inman aligner straighten my teeth?

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011
Q.

Dear Dr. Butt,
I would like your advice. I wore braces for 2 years 6 years ago, and I stopped wearing my retainers. Because of this, my beautiful straight teeth gave way slightly to the problem I had before braces.

My top 2 front teeth have protruded out again, a bit like a rabbit, and the 2 incisors on either side of them have moved forward a bit too (all on the top jaw). I have had consultations from orthodontists and I am asking you as well.

Will the Inman Aligner align my top 2 teeth with the rest of my top teeth giving me a straight top jaw again? Will it make my teeth straight again?

Kind regards,
