Can you tell me do you do the mini implants , as my mother is 80yrs old, and I would like to know for 4-6 of this mini implants’ how much would they cost? Also since I am assuming that they could be fairly expensive so can I have their cost as a one off and if on finanace how much would it cost per month?
They would be the back teeth of the upper jaw, molars I think. Also if they are cost effective we would think of having more added in the future so it could be beneficial for them to be so. Also I am slightly unfamiliar with them so would like to know about general care duties needed to ensure that they last or that they don’t come out or wear down and stuff you know, for example would they have to be taken out when goes to bed? or can she sleep with them in? and can she brush her teeth as normal without changing anything? Monday, March 11th, 2013I have top and bottom full set of dentures two years ago but now they have become loose and getting very awkward especially eating amoung people.I either need my dentures relining or a really good set of dentures that are well fixed to my gum.I have been to see my dentist and was not pleased with the direction he told me to take. He suggested implants which is fair enough but you look at the cost of them and consider that I am a pensioner and just don’t have the money. Sorry to rant a little there but I want alternatives. Don’y advise me om implant, just can’t afford it.Give me your best advice.When I eat some food would get under the top denture ,then I’m unable to carry on eating which is very frustrating. Also I have trouble with speech as well sound funny and around my mouth it appear to be sagging.

Friday, February 15th, 2013Hello, I have just been to my local dentist and I need my front tooth removing as soon as possible, my other front tooth is already a bridge and thisis attached to the one I need taking out but she said that I can not have a dental bridge fitted, I could just have dentures but I’m twenty-nine years old and don’t want to be walking about with dentures in my mouth, my teeth either side of front ones are in good health though so why can’t I get a bridge fitted if this is the case, I can’t afford dental implants anyway so I want something else which will be more permanent, what would you recommend in this particular case?

Can I Still Get An Implant If My Gum Has Healed?
Thursday, January 31st, 2013I had a molar removed from my top teeth approx 2yrs ago as it was infected could not be saved. I now have a gap. the tooth next to it is a crown but I have now been advised by my dentist that it is loose and will need replacing and the tooth removing as I would not be ble to have another crown. I would like an implant for the missing tooth as well as the tooth that will need removing. But my dentist has said that I would not be able to have an implant as the gum/bone has healed but I might be able to have an implant with a tooth attached so I have 2 teeth. Is this something that can be done?

Friday, January 18th, 2013Hi, after having root canal in my eye tooth, a year later I got an infection in the guu, after numerous anti-biotics my dentist referred me to the hospital to have the tooth removed and a false one on a plate put in. I was very upset as I did not want to have a plate. On visiting the hospital they said they could try and save the tooth by splitting the gum open to rid the infection. I had this procedure last August. Unfortunately the infection is back as my gum is turning black around the tooth again, with discomfort and a nasty taste. I was wondering if you could advise me of the cost of having the tooth removed replaced by a screw in one. Regards

or just leaving the gap?
Also with regards to implants how can i be sure i’m going to the right place, my dentist is reluctant to suggest anywhere and various friends have suggested places from Brighton to Budapest ….

Am I Being Overcharged For Implants?
Thursday, January 17th, 2013I have a broken front tooth which was previously root filled many years ago. I broke the tooth whilst biting onto a hard fruit. I have seen many dentists who have said that a simple crown cannot be fitted as the tooth has broken to the jaw line…or something along that route. I am looking or a more permanent solution to bridging or dentures, and want to have an implant placed. My local dentist has this facility but are charging £2500 for the whole procedure, fixtures and fitting. I am a very nervous patient who absolutely hates going to the dentist. I have looked online and it seems my dentist surgery is asking for a lot of money compared to many sites who stare implants can be placed from £1000. I would like to know how much is a reasonable price for a front tooth implant to be put in place. please do help me. Thank you kindly

top right jaw I had a large mola removed in Dec, I’ve no longer any top corner top teeth im finding it hard to eat on this side of my mouth because I have nothing to bite my food with, and I’m having to chew on my left side, today I chatted with my dentist about an implant to replace the large tooth I lost, he siad it would cost £1000-£2000 for a single implant. Do you think that any NHS teaching hospitals would be able to do it cheaper as i’m not working at the moment and so cannot really afford to pay that amount of money. My dentist said the NHS wouldnt pay for my implant, just wondered if there was anything I could do to help myself, as im finding it hard to eat normaly,
