Do the NHS provide invisible braces?

Hi I am a nineteen year old going to turn 20 in 05 /2011. I am a distance learning part time degree student from home first year. I don’t get any benefits or anything. Its a commercial degree so i wasn’t entitled to a loan or grant. Its with the University of East London through a company. I wanted to know if I could get the invisible braces free on the NHS according to my situation.,

My gums have started to bleed and smell, are they infected?

i have been wearing titanium braces for the last 18 months. flossing is difficult even with those that have been recommended. a few days ago i noticed that when flossing, a really bad smell came from one particular gum together with blood. since then i have been flossing more ,rinsing,using warm salted water but nothing stops the foul scent. i plan to visit the dentist though.,

Why is my molar filling suddenly painful after three weeks?

I got a filling in a molar about 3 weeks ago and everything has been fine with the tooth since then. However, starting this morning I have gotten maybe 4 or 5 very quick, sharp, shooting pains in that tooth. They are not brought on by food or drink, and they go away as quickly as they come. Help!!! Can I get invisible braces fitted if I have incisor protruding and misaligned teeth?

Hi, I have the flowing issues that i’d like to get resolved and as the quality of my teeth is good (I don’t want veneers etc) I wonder if these issues are likely to be able to be fixed using invisble braces? • Upper lateral incisor protruding • Upper First and second bicuspid narrow • Slight (2mm) misalignment between centre of top central incisor and bottom centre of central incisors,

Is the UK a good place to specialise in your dentistry degree & what are the visa requirements?

My daughter has been recommended implants to replace her baby teeth and then braces. Are there any alternatives?

My 16yr daughter has been fitted a brace as she has missing adult teeth either side of her top middle teeth. we have been told that the best option is to have implants in the gaps and then bring in the rest of the teeth so that any gaps are at the back, but we are unsure whether this is the best option and we would like to know what are the other options if any. My daughter would prefer to have bridges as this would be less painful and give a quicker result but the orthodontist seems to not want to fit them. as we are paying privately for her treatment i think my daughters views should be taken into account. Are we entitled to have a second opinion and be referred to have the rest of the work completed under the nhs? can you advise.,

My damaged front tooth has turned black. I was going to use teeth whitening but I am afraid this will make it more obvious. Any suggestions?

What can I do for my missing and sensitive teeth?

I have just had one of my molars’ taken out due to the fact that my tooth cracked from the root. I also have extermely sensitive teeth and I have tried all the recommended toothpastes avaliable for the past three years and nothing has helped.
