Q.
My husband has to have the tooth between his front tooth and canine tooth removed as it cannot be crowned. His dentist said that it can’t be bridged because the gap is too big and recommended a plate, which fills my husband with horror. As he has a healthy tooth either side, why can’t it be bridged? I had one of my front teeth removed and that was bridged very successfully. Would a second opinion be advisable?,
