Hi, My teeth aren’t that bad, only 2 of them are being pushed back which makes them look wonkey… But its always been a problem, i hate my teeth… But im going into jobs that presentation is everything and I really can’t have braces, Is there anyway I could get them straightened on the NHS without getting full on braces? I haven’t got the money to pay for invisalign or Clearstep
I have been neglecting my dental care due to fear and finance. I finally got the courage to see a dentist because I want to be able to smile in photos of me and my first grandchild. As of now I avoid them and he is 27 months. I told the dentist that I went to that I needed affordable dental care and he said there is no such thing. He said that my dental care would cost in excess of $18,000. I know that I need a lot of work including periodontal treatment but I don’t trust him. He suggested that I get dentures, I am only 47. I am afraid of going to see another dentist. He gave me a printout of my xrays, is there any online consultations that are available. Thank you so very much for your time
i had two teeth knocked out due to an assault and the person got let of with it , which then resulted in me not getting compensation to have my teeth fixed . i have a plate but find it very uncomfortable to eat and talk . can i get implants on nhs ?
i recently visited a new dentist as my previous one was too far away, i had 2 crowns before and they got damaged and fell out, when i returned to my old dentist he said they needed to be removed as the crown was not staying put. that was november and my new dentist was quite abrupt and rude and told me the 2 needed 2 be removed and another 3, 1 is a widom tooth. he told me the nhs would not pay for me to have thosands of pounds of work done and he would not treat me until the teeth had been removed. he then made a hospital appointment for this to happen under sedation. i agree the wisdom and the previous 2 need to be removed but the others im sure can be saved, otherwise it leaves me with 2 back teeth??
Hi I had an accident in November and smashed the front 3 teeth out. I have been advised I require 6 crowns at £600 a tooth, my dentist has been excellent so far in helping me but is not cosmetic, would it be better to go to a cosmetic dentist for this work on finance or is there a way to get it done free on NHS? It’s really depressing me as my teeth were okay before and I just would like to sorted out now, as I have also been advised due to trauma and infections I should wait another 6 months to start the work. I had an accident 2 years ago where i chipped my front tooth, my denist fixed the tooth but it now has a brown line through the middle of it and the top part looks grey in colour, it makes me really unhappy as everytime i smile that is all you can see. I also have quite a few fillings which i would like of possible to be changed to white ones?
I am looking to see how much this would cost me to have done.

hiya. iv been looking into getting braces for a while now but didnt realise how expensive they can be! im 23 years old, and my teeth are slightly crowded. im thinking if having braces fitted as iv noticed that my one tooth on one side has slowly started to move back, and i dont want this to happen to my other teeth. i was jus emailing to ask a rough price guide for braces that you offer? i no its difficult to say without having assessed my teeth, but i was jus looking for a rough price guide, including one for the 6 months smile i think it was.
