What would be the best form of treatment for decayed and broken teeth?

Monday, October 4th, 2010
Q.
Hi Rob I recently lost one of of my canine teeth dury a football match. My two front teeth are also showing signs of rot and some off my other teeth are badly decayed and broken down. What would be the best form of treatment? Would it be getting crowns or having dental implants. Any advice is greatly appreciated Many thanks,

Is there any way I can get cosmetic dentistry without paying a fortune for it?

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010
Q.
I’ve had problems with my teeth for as long as I can remember. But now things are getting worse. Despite regular brushing and using mouthwash my teeth are quite discoloured and now I’ve also noticed I have 3 loose teeth. I want to have more confidence when I smile but now I need implants as well. Unfortunately I’ve been made redundant and can’t afford to have the work done. Is there anyway I can get a brighter smile at least without paying fortunes for it?,

Can you please advise me on some treatment, and whether you offer finance options?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr Solanki I’ve actually been to see you before and really loved how comfortable I was made to feel as I’ve always been frightened of the dentist ever since I was little. When I was a child I was registered with a not very good dentist who tried and tried to fill one of my front teeth, spread filling stuff all over the tooth next to it, and eventually ended up putting on a very bad and bulky veneer. I’m almost 30 now, and I want my front teeth sorting out… I hate having my photo taken, as when I smile, I feel like the veneer sticks out and is magnified by the fact that the filling is still all over the tooth next to it and is quite discoloured… Also my two very front teeth overlap slightly, and one of them has a tiny chip in it, but it all adds to the downfall of my smile! What would you recommend? I know it’s going to be expensive, and wondered what kind of finance options you offer? Like most people, I don’t have much money going spare, but feel it would be worth it to regain confidence in my smile. Thanks,

A dentist told my wife that she will lose all her upper front teeth. Could you please advise us regarding the nature of cosmetic procedures involved in treating this type of condition?

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010
Q.
hi My wife has just been told by a dentist that she will loose all her upper front teeth. This is due to a flea bite on her gum, which became infected, and has attacked the teeth roots and bone of her upper jaw. The dentist told her that cosmetic surgery to address this problem would be extremely expensive, and that dentures are the only practical solution. At the moment all her teeth are still firm, and her mouth looks completely normal. Could you please advise us regarding the nature of cosmetic proceedures involved in treating this type of condition, and their likely cost. Regards,
