I have some movable teeth can I have fixed stable teeth

Thursday, May 29th, 2008
Q.
I have some very movable teeth and I want to know if there is anyway I could use the stable teeth (approx six) to have a bridge fitted or is it better to have them removed and replaced with a full denture as this will probably be inevitable in the future.

I broke a tooth should I have a tooth implant or bridge

Thursday, May 29th, 2008
Q.
I broke a tooth and a half sometime last year. I am currently contemplating to either have the tooth implant or the bridge. What are the good and bad of having a tooth implant and a bridge?

I knocked my tooth out and had a bridge I don’t have enough bone density could I have dental implants

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008
Q.
I knocked my two front teeth out when I was 8yrs old, they were put back in and capped but didn’t take and at 15yrs old they were removed and replaced with a denture and then a porcelain bridge. I am now 26yrs old, getting married in 6mths time and have broken my bridge and caused damage to the adjoining tooth following a fall on Friday when I blacked out. I have seen an NHS dentist this morning who took X-rays and wants to review my own tooth next week. I am considering implants, because this is the 3rd bridge I’ve had since I was 17yrs old. At that time I was told I didn’t have enough bone density, but could that change over time or just get worse?

I’m obviously very conscious about the cost as we are paying for a wedding and equally I am conscious of time because I need to be able to smile at my wedding on 1st November 2008. I can feel my confidence decreasing already, and I work in sales so I have to come across confident and talk to people all day. I really don’t know what would be best, another bridge would be quicker and cheaper but how long would it last, and implants or mini implants could last a lifetime rather than 5-10yrs.

I had an accident and knocked my two front teeth out I have a Maryland bridge

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008
Q.
I had an accident in December fractured my skull and knocked out my two front teeth, I currently have a maryland bridge fitted for tempory measure and don’t know what to do now I am seeing my surgeon in May, my dentist wants my roots removed to fit another bridge but I would like to know about implants, the problem is my teeth were not straight so the gap where my teeth were knocked out is not big enough to fit four teeth in and if I just had two teeth there they would be very big so I don’t if to get the front six teeth as implants as my dentist is going to shave them down to fit the bridge so i would loose them anyway, the surgeons left the roots in for me to have posts fitted and then a tooth but I can’t find any information about it anywhere, also my surgeon does not seem to keen on removing the roots. What would be the best cause of action to gain the best results please help!

Mt tooth between my eye tooth and front tooth is broken

Friday, May 2nd, 2008
Q.
My crown and tooth has broken. It is the upper tooth between the front and eye tooth. A bridge has been suggested but only attached to one tooth. Does this seem right? Would you advocate a plate?

I have a eight tooth bridge on my canines should i have a chrome denture

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008
Q.
I currently have a 15 year old eight tooth bridge on the front top – my own front four teeth completely missing with two each side (canine and next) holding it on (with gold pole in each canine tooth. The canine teeth have to come out. I also wear a flange so that my top lip does not sink in and make me look horrid. Would it be best to have implants/implant with denture (would these give enough volume to my top lip) or is it best to have a chrome denture, which sounds good because I understand it can fill my top lip out and very importantly is minimal and does not necessarily cover the palate?
